    Be the Bigger Person

I’m angry right now, so angry. I don’t want to be ‘coz we share the same blood but I just can’t help it. Why do you have to be so judgmental? As far as I know, you don’t have the right to tell me who I am and what I’m capable of! I don’t even know myself and yet you tend to jump to conclusions and say I won’t be able to succeed in life because I’m useless, lazy, way too sensitive and lack the resourcefulness of a businessman. Yes. I may be like that but isn’t there a room for change? Isn’t there? Apparently, change is the only constant thing in this world and for all I know, everyone undergoes that process. It’s not just me but you as well who has to straighten the acts we’ve made. It’s not just me who has to adjust to your personality but you have to deal with mine too.  And please! Before you judge me try to look at yourself first. Try to think if your worthy of making those remarkable comments because maybe one day, you’d be eating those words you’ve spoken. I’m not scaring you or something. I just want to let you know that you have to watch your mouth because you’ve become so tactless and that attitude is so-not pleasant. You’re mentally and emotionally hurting someone who’s still starting to face life’s challenges. Do you want to be blamed for someone’s misery? Are you gonna be happy to see someone struggling? If you don’t, then try to be the bigger person in the situation. After all, you’ve been through all of this discrimination. You’re my guardian. My parents entrusted me in your hands. You should be the one encouraging and not forcing me to give up life’s battle. Isn’t that what families are made for? (:

    Glad They Came (:

I am glad for what I have right now. I might not have everything but I am still grateful because I got those people who treasured me most for who and what I am. Despite my flaws, they accepted the real me and I thank our Lord for granting this irreplaceable reward in my life—my friends.

Life was hard for me. Everyday I’m battling with problems—we all do and I know it’s hard for you as much as it is hard for me. Despite how hard life is, my friends were my driving force to keep on living life to the fullest. They let me experience how great it is to be accepted for who and what you are and they let me enjoy life even in their own small ways. They taught me how to be unselfish, compassionate and most of all, they taught me how to value the people who’s always around me. Truly, FRIENDS are gifts from God. (:

    To Live My Dreams

I have lots of—shall we say—goals in life. I’ve been planning these things so that I could live my life to the fullest—no regrets but only the feeling of integrity as I take my journey here on earth with this borrowed time. But despite of all these planning, it seems that I couldn’t put these words into actions. Emotionally weak and socially crippled, doing what I want keeps me from having a positive outlook in life. I know it’s not an excuse but, how can you continue on living the life you want when you’re already impaired by criticism? How can you do the things you want when others block you from achieving your objectives? It’s difficult, eh? But thanks to this song composed by a young musician for he gave me the will to carry on and continue on chasing my dreams. His song reminded me to take the chances with no hesitation—just go and grab it without thinking of what’s going to be the outcome. It won’t hurt at all if I do something stupid, right? After all, it will give me something to laugh about when I am old. It also tells me that it’s okay to look back in the past but not to live with it because doing so wouldn’t help me in achieving my dreams. It will only hinder me from doing what I want because it will only give me the fear that I might do the same mistakes that I did before. Another message it conveyed to me is that I have to make something useful out of the things I already have. Having this feeling of contentment, somehow, will help me from living a happy life. And lastly, the song suggests that I should live life like there is no tomorrow. I should do what I want as long as I won’t hurt others and my actions will not lead me to harm. Ah! It must be nice if I could fulfill those things. I got the notion that what I’m saying right now might turn out into one of those broken promises but whatever happens, there is one thing I’m sure of. I’ll never get tired of attempting to take the chances until I’ll get hold of them. I might be hesitant about things but I’m sure, at some time, I’ll be confident enough to take a step towards my dreams. It might be hard but I have to do it to know that I can make it. (:

    Why I LOVE Greyson Chance

A powerful voice, passion for music, and the will to inspire others made this 15-year old boy from Oklahoma capture the hearts of million. After that remarkable performance of his rendition of Lady GaGa’s Paparazzi, Greyson Chance has been busy making his appearance on TV shows and conquering the world stage—accomplishing more than many musicians can hope for in their careers. No doubt, he is definitely one of the best and most brilliant musicians of this generation.
But to me it is not just his voice, his exquisite skills in playing the piano, and his angelic face that made me one of his enthusiastic admirers. Rather, it is his personality that charmed me most. I’ve watched most of his interviews and he always wear this darling personality—like when people ask him questions, he would answer it in a friendly way and with a smile on his face. Being incredibly polite somehow makes people at ease and comfortable conversing with Grey and it’s no wonder why a lot of people from the media like him. Another thing that also makes this kid admirable is that he is so modest and good-natured that I’ve never seen him show the slightest hint of arrogance and lose his temper (for now and I’m hoping he never would) as what I’ve observed in his interviews. He’s always cool and acts as if he’s not a celebrity at all. And the BEST thing about him is that he LOVES his fans! He’s just bursting with great enthusiasm every time he talks about his supporters and it kinda makes me, as one of his fans, feel HAPPY. After all, we (fans) love more the person we look up to if he shows to us that he loves us too—especially if we know that he wrote a song inspired by us and dedicated for us.
That’s why I admire and love this young musician from Edmond, Oklahoma not just because he is beautiful on the outside but so on the inside. In behalf of all your Filipino fans, I say, “MAHAL KA NAMIN, GREYSON!” (We love you, Greyson!). (:
